Cancellations / Refunds

No refunds will be given after the deadline.  If a player withdraws before the deadline, a $20 processing fee will be assessed by the Wisconsin PGA.

Dress Code

DRESS CODE PLAYERS AND CADDIES:  By signing your entry form, you agree to conform to the PGA Dress Code.  “Proper golfing attire must be worn at all times during tournament qualifying and tournament proper rounds.  The Tournament Chairperson or duly appointed staff may prohibit play by those who do not conform to dress standards as established by the Wisconsin PGA.”  The dress code will be strictly enforced and you are being alerted now so that you can come prepared.  

Male Contestants: Proper attire for male contestants will consist of long dress trousers and dress golf shirts.  The wearing of jeans, cut off shorts, regular shorts, tank tops, tee shirts or anything of that nature WILL NOT be permitted.

Female Contestants: Proper attire may consist of bermuda shorts or dress trousers and a dress golf shirt.  The wearing of jeans, cut off shorts, tank tops, tee shirts or anything of that nature WILL NOT be permitted.   

All Caddies: Proper attire may consist of bermuda shorts or dress trousers and a dress golf shirt.  The wearing of jeans, cut off shorts, tank tops, tee shirts or anything of that nature WILL NOT be permitted. 

 

 

Electronic Measuring Devices

Electronic Measuring devices WILL be allowed for the event.

Eligibility

Open to any legal resident of the State of Wisconsin, golf professionals working as such within the state, PGA professionals working as such within the Wisconsin Section, PGA and all exempt players

Amateur - $155

PGA Affiliated Professional - $205

Unaffiliated Professional - $355 (Includes suspended apprentices and PGA members not in good standing)

Forfeiture Of Amateur Status

Any amateur may declare herself a golf professional and play as such provided she signs a letter of intent and pays the additional entry fee PRIOR to beginning play in the tournament proper.

Format

156 Player Field

72-Hole Stroke Play Competition.  A 36 hole cut will be made after Round 2 is completed on Tuesday.  The low 60 and ties will make the cut.

Golf Cars, Caddies and Walking

Tournament Proper: Contestants may use a golf car, a caddie or carry your own bag. No pull or push carts will be allowed.  ONLY PLAYERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO RIDE IN OR ON GOLF CARS, NO SPECTATORS OR CADDIES.

Qualifying
:  Golf car fees are mandatory and not included in qualifying entry.  Players may elect to carry their own bag or use a caddie and still pay the golf car fee.

Laser Link Reflectors

Laser Link reflectors will be available at this tournament.

No Metal Spikes

All WPGA affiliated events are non-metal spike tournaments.  Please be advised that the host club will not be responsible for supplying spikes.  Have your shoes changed prior to arrival.

Practice Rounds

One practice round per tournament proper contestant at a rate of $59 (Includes cart fee).  Rounds will be available on July 31st, August 14th and August 17th.  Please contact the Eau Claire G&CC golf shop to arrange a time.  Non-competitor rate is $83 (Includes cart fee).

Proper Conduct - Unbecoming

Any conduct that shows disrespect for the tournament committee, tournament regulations, or the traditional etiquette of golf, shall constitute grounds for disciplinary action and could result in disqualification.

Rejected Entries

The Wisconsin PGA reserves the right to reject any entry due to non-competitive past performances.
